Fun With Fundations (Patty Kelly, Debbie Antilla, Liz Sebring, Stephanie Roth, Mary Kirby, and Melissa Petro, BRS) strengthens phonics and pragmatic language skills with specialized programs, games,and electronic equipment.

Pragmatic Language (Ruth Rust, Laura Twomey, and Brit York, BRS) uses interactive board games to build on learning social language and pragmatic skills.

Broaden Our World with Multicultural Literature (Stephanie Palmer, Eileen Prizeman, Jenna Hamilton, Eileen Eustace, Leah Wisotsky, Christine Harris, Kristy MacSweeney, Tara Goldstein, Marissa Freher, Karen Herbst, Vickie Moore, BRS) helps students learn to accept diversity while building literacy skills by reading multicultural books.

Listening, Learning Centers (Maura Hunter, BRS) created listening stations in Grades 2-4 and ELL classrooms.

Interactive Response System (Sam Aidala, PMS) allows teachers to obtain instant feedback from students during topic reviews and assessments.

Literacy & Non-Fiction- A Bridge Connecting All Content Areas (George Coffey, Dawn Cavrell-Epstein, Julie Ann Power, and Melissa Brown, PMS) provided non-fiction reading materials for sixth grade enhancement of reading and writing across content areas.

Creative Twist on a Reading Unit (Nancy Pregiato, Erica Plouffe, Ashley O’Hara, John Speight, Hillary Dettwyler, Janel Cassino, Lillian Triarsi, Melissa Brown, PMS) allows author studies in the 5th Grade ELA program.

Geography Global Awareness (Virginia Mancini, Hillary Dettwyler, Ashley O’Hara, Kelly McCaden, and Sara Keegan, MS) provided atlases for enhanced work  in 5th and 6th grade social studies

Middle School Edible Garden (Lea MacDonald, Melissa Brown, and Lois Shillito, MS) created a middle school edible garden that expands the classroom outdoors and fosters social, emotional and nutritional wellness.

PMS Band Library Expansion Project (Dorian Nuccio,PMS) added music for duets, quartets, ensemble and NYSMAA to the band library.

Physical Education/Fit For Life (Bob Bernarducci, Tony Becerra, HS) added pedometers to the Fit for Life classes.

Music, Media and Magic (Mary Ann Meade and Kathleen Donovan Warren, PHS) added performance DVDs in orchestra, chorus, band and theater, along with a DVD player for music/theater department.

Pleasantville Goes Green (Greg Butler and advisor Maryelisa Blundell, HS) added 3 recycling containers for the hallway to make recycling assessable to all students.
